What’s Involved

Many online companies that sell products or services offer an affiliate program where they promise to pay a commission on any sales that you directly refer.There are three basic types of programs.

Pay Per Click.  You place advertisements on your website and if someone clicks on it, you get paid a set price.

Pay Per Lead.  You advertise and refer people to a website and if your referral completes a form as requested, you get paid a set price.

Pay Per Sale: You advertise and refer people to a website and if they buy a product or hire the company to provide a service, you get paid either a set price or a percentage of the sale.

It’s easiest to build an affiliate income when you have a website that already has a good amount of traffic flowing through it.  But you can get started with as little as a link in your signature on forums and in emails.

How much money can I make?

Some affiliates make thousands of dollars each week.  But starting out it all depends on your reach as an internet marketer.  More traffic and more subscribers should mean more affiliate income.
