I’ve already in love (from afar) with the Apple iPad. I adore my iPhone and believe I will enjoy an iPad over a laptop computer for travel use.
I’m going to go for the 16 GB WIFI only model. I don’t want to take on another expensive data plan and am totally fine with relying on my iphone for those moments when I can’t access WIFI.
I’m not worried about having huge disc space either. It’s purely a surfing and reading device!
I would love to say that I can run right out and buy one when they hit the local stores here – but alas – I can’t!
I’m moving this week – I’m paying double rent for a month and a half. I need to buy some furniture and I’ve got some higher priority business tools on my list to acquire.
So, I’ve started a special savings account. I’m going to tuck away dollars here and there and hope to have it in time for this summer’s NAMS4 conference. We’ll see how often I can say no to a yummy coffee or dining out ;)

I look forward to hearing your take on the iPad. I was thinking of getting one for my mom so that at least she can check email and have easier access to the family who is all over Facebook. I hope you have a smooth move!
The iPad sounds like a good business investment for you – and it's tax deductible!;_
Great idea. I want one too, but I'm not sure when I'll get it.
Just updated :) $100 down, $450 to go!
I keep my Visa card purely for emergency situations. Hmm. Wondering if an iPad could somehow be classed as an emergency! With my Laptop doing dodgy things lately, maybe it can. LOL
Good for you Kelly. You'll have one in no time, I know it.
