Smart Use of a Free Reprint Article

I was puttering around Google this evening taking a look at how some of my free reprint articles are being used on the web. (Yes, I know it’s New Year’ Eve but I’m a dork ok?) I found one of my older articles here and I wanted to point out how this website had taken my article and made it really useful and hopefully profitable.

I like how they took my toy/activity recommendations and hot linked them to affiliate links for the products. That’s smart and perfect acceptable to me as the author. All I care about is that my content has not been changed and that my author bio and hot link to my radio show site has been faitfully preserved.

I was really pleased with the sheer number of websites that have grabbed my articles and used them. I found articles I had forgetten about so it was a fun activity.
