  6. Michaela says:

So far I have identified my 3 points, I have put those into my mission statement. And I have written 2 articles.

  7. I can't believe that I'm going to do this, but, count me in. Now off to dream about my goals.

  8. michaelasibanda says:

Okay, so I have mission on about page, I have submitted 3 articles to ezines.com and selfgrowth.com and I have scheduled 3 blog posts. Now to find a place to guest blog on…Whew!

  9. I will do it.

  10. I finished my goals and dreams. I just want to fine tune my goals with some deadlines and so I'll do that as I get more realistic with timeframes and potential.

I also finished my mission statement. I kept if simple and easy to understand. No “Big” words to confuse anyone.

  11. I never updated you guys. So far I have written one article and have submitted it to ezine and go articles. I will submit it to one more place. And I received 2 comments on my article. One over at ezine and one on a friend of mine's facebook page. Whew whoooo!!!!!

Identified three points I want to be known for.

  15. Okay, after many weeks of thought and three pages of edits that only I can read, I've landed on my mission statement and three points about my business I want to emphasize. It is all reflected in my about page here: http://www.smallbusinessstudy.com/about/

Hey there – that's a great bit of content and a wonderful story – but it's not a good fit for a VA about page. Your about page should focus in on your as a VA professional – what you do, who you serve, etc. Does that make sense?

Hurray Lois! Now you can get to writing :)

  25. Hi Genesis – I'm glad I found you again, I use to follow your expat blog :) Anyhow, I clicked on your comment link above and was taken to your At Home Mom blog and have to tell you it's one useful blog for writing tips (my interests) and one woman's perspective on working at home (love your recent vacation story).

  26. Last week I just joined Mom Masterminds and listening to one of the first audios suggested. You talk about staying focused to prosper in a virtual business. So at this time I just wanted to share I'm not turning the challenge down but finishing the projects I started. My challenge will come.

It's really important people get to this point of recognizing when it's time to stop creating but completing tasks. Interested in hearing how everyone else does.

    yes, yes I'd love to.

  28. Michele McFadden says:

Working on 3 key points not sure what they could be for a decorating site. I wrote some didn’t think they were quite right. wrote some more but put them in about page seemed fine but now I have to write articles about them and they really aren’t something that I want to have an article on. Example: I want to be known for having how to decorating videos. But how is an article on the importance of having a how to video going to promote my site of how to decorate??

    Any suggestions please.

  29. Michele, I responded to your post at MM with some feedback :) Basically, there’s a difference between ‘what you do’ and ‘what you stand for’.

  30. Ok, here it is the about page with the mission statement and three points worked in.
    http://stagedragon.com/about.htm

    :)

  31. now on to writing articles. I got my welcome email done and my about page. Yay!

  32. Michaela says:

I love that I only have to inquire about being a guest on relevant podcasts. But I WILL stretch myself.

  33. Ok I know I'm really late in joining in but I'm in. I have to admit this is definitely going to be a challenge that takes me outside of my comfort level and…well STRETCHES me! There's lots of things to do here but what 'scares' me the most is all the writing I'll be doing! lol

  34. Ponnsabra says:

My goal is to start & finish this challenge in 5 months. July 27 – Dec. 27th by the end of 2010, as you shared in #2. Listening to your audios is helping me Kelly, thanks!

  35. Still challenged by this STRETCH Challenge, I left a comment last month saying I finished the first 5 steps. I plan on reporting again at the end of this weekend as I’ve set myself up to do 5-10 more at week’s end.

  36. Thank You for the insight of starting online networking.

  37. Just finished my 1st ebook, posted my blogposts, just need to get the articles into the article directories.

  38. Submitted 5 articles to ezinearticles and goarticles.com. Found 10 niche podcasts to pitch. Have secured 3 guest posts on other blogs. Researching how to make a slideshow video, otherwise may just ‘wing’ it. ;-)
Determined to finish in 7 days to meet my Jan. 30/31st goal! ;-)

  39. Yay!

    Here’s my free ebook: http://americanmuslimmom.com/ebook
My debut Podcast (which is all the above steps with the ebook) http://americanmuslimmom.com/american-muslim-mom-debut-podcast
    Here’s my video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E72SUDZD6V0

I have all the other steps either hand-written or organized, guest blogs posts all the way to the last ebook. The only trouble was finding podcasts in my niche to be a guest on. I found a list of 10, but not all of the them are shows that interest me.

    Thanks for the direction Kelly!
