Work at Home in the Summertime?

I woke up to another hot day in northern Michigan. 

Northern Michigan isn’t supposed to get hot.  It’s ‘Up North’! We’re supposed to enjoy a wonderful moderate climate where you wake up to dew on the grass every morning, never sweat just sitting still and want a light jacket come nightfall.

Sadly, that’s just the postcard version.

It’s flipping HOT!

Sean and I went to dinner at Applebee’s yesterday -thanks to Barb :) - and then went to see the Pirates movie.  We enjoyed the air conditioning but coming home was rough though, the house was just as stuffy as when we left it.

I’m missing my basement home office at this point. 

Arg! I’m such a whiner!  Enough of that!

I ran to the post office a little while ago (enjoying my car’s AC while I was at it) and as I drove back home, I thought about how different it was when I worked full time.  I had an air conditioned office then.  But is that enough to make me regret my decision to stay home full time? 

Uh… no.

I love being home.  Even if it is flipping hot.
